Meet Claire

Accepting new clients - evening and weekend availability!

Claire is a board-approved therapist and supervisor that sees clients for a wide variety of difficulties, but particularly enjoys working with children and adolescents, young adults, adoptive or foster care families, depression, anxiety, trauma, racial identity, and OCD. Claire has specialized training in DBT, CBT, ACT, and ERP. Claire has clinical experience in acute mental health working with mental health crises in Emergency Rooms, Inpatient Psychiatric Hospitals, and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP).

“I’ve spent 5+ years in acute mental health settings supporting clients with a wide variety of backgrounds and challenges, so nothing is off the table when you come to see me. I’m unspookable. I’ve worked with all ages on issues related to depression, suicidal ideation and self-harm, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem and identity formation, LGBTQ+ issues, ADHD, OCD, eating disorders, and religion and spirituality. I’m not your smile and nod therapist. Change isn’t just about listening, it’s about education. Which is why I’m passionate about actually giving you the tools and information you need to feel better.

When I’m not working, I like to try (and fail) to keep up with my husband on runs, make homemade pizza, hang out with my cat Doug, and build community with the many teens I have the pleasure of mentoring through the nonprofit Crosstown Young Life. I have been apart of a transracial adoptive and/or foster family for the entirety of my life, and am honored to support youth and/or parents navigating these challenges.
